I enjoy seeing my teammate cook like that! Kevin Durant ECSTATIC as Bradley Beal left Austin R

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant generally reserves his praise for the absolute best. Tonight he did just that for his fellow superstar Bradley Beal, who put on a show. Durant especially highlighted a play that has left the whole world talking.

Bradley Beal’s name is generally associated with high-volume scoring. But tonight it was his ball handling that brought out the praise from his fellow teammate after almost breaking the ankles of Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves. Durant had this to say to Michael Corvo of Clutch Points after the game;

He had Austin dancing. I enjoy seeing my teammates cook like that!

Durant said that Bradley Beal is one of the best players in the world. Beal took some time to get onto the court this season. With injuries sidelining him for much of the season, fans never got to see the Phoenix Big 3 in action until toward the end of 2023. They were languishing with a .500 record and somehow clinging onto the Play-In places.

Since Beal has been back, the Suns are 5-3. Their steady rise up the Western Conference rankings is backed by impressive play from the Big 3. Beal took some time to get to his best. But it is better late than never.

Bradley Beal is back to his best

An off night from the Los Angeles Lakers should not dampen the fact that Bradley Beal played his best game in a Phoenix Suns jersey tonight. What excited the fans was that he went 8-10 from the three and shot overall 66% from the field.

Beal put up 37 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to lead the Suns to a 127-109 win. What was surprising was that the Los Angeles Lakers big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Reaves combined for just 36 points. Devin Booker produced 31 alone to help on an off night for Durant.

Bradley Beal coming back and exploding for his season-high to beat the Lakers was the best ending for the night. It also happened after the Lakers beat the Suns the previous three times without Beal in the lineup. Durant is bound to love every bit of the victory.
