Rivera opened up about her life and career to Hola. She says that one of her secrets to success is being true to herself. "I think more than anything, and it sounds a bit easy, but for me I feel that the best way to conquer someone is by being who you are, not pretending," Rivera explains. "I think that sometimes we are so worried about being a perfect person and not, that is, it is better to say: 'Look, that's how I am, love me as I am, accept me', because it is better for them to accept you as you really are than for them to believe that you are another person."

Rivera tells Hola that transparency is one of her biggest secrets to success, especially when it comes to romance. "A key to a relationship that lasts, that they know from the beginning 'this is what I like, this is what I don't like'. I think that it is fair that I have learned over the years, that is, things as they are from the beginning, that is, to be transparent, honest."

Rivera tells Hola that she is working on taking things slow, especially her romantic relationships. "I am very calm, I am taking it day after day, that has also helped me, not rushing things, that is, really living in the moment. That has worked a lot for me in that relationship and well, nothing, we understand each other, which is the most important thing."

Rivera revealed in this Instagram video that she hiked Yosemite Falls. She wrote about her journey with hiking in the caption, "Upper Yosemite Falls – I conquered it!!!! This is the hardest thing I've ever put my mind, body and spirit through. After 23,000 steps, 7.5 miles, 3,200 ft climbed/hiked I felt more than accomplished. I felt relief! Proud! I felt…better. Hiking up was definitely strenuous, but coming down was a challenge in itself. There were times I wanted to quit and turn back, but I wouldn't allow myself to take not even a step backwards. I stayed focused on the task ahead. I kept repeating, 'You're smart enough to know that it's all in your mind. Your body is capable of anything. You got this!'"

In the same Instagram video, Rivera revealed that when she was hiking, she used the time to disconnect from her daily life. "I wasn't aware how much I needed to disconnect from the world, and connect with nature, and my higher self," she wrote in the caption. "During my meditation and prayer time up there, I let go of EVERYTHING I had been emotionally carrying for the past few weeks! Sitting there reminded me of how much natural beauty we are surrounded with, but ignore because of the daily hustle and bustle. It was for sure a humbling experience, one I'll never forget."
