1. He Played Basketball in High School

Catlett played basketball while in high school. He even played at the NCAA Divison 3 level. His intention was to pursue a career in basketball after high school graduation, but his relocation to Los Angeles changed everything.

While in Los Angeles, he came in contact with a man who was selling shoes. He discovered that the man had a white set of teeth, his curiosity made him ask the man why his teeth is white. The man told him that he was an actor, and that to tell the man that he wants to try it.

The man told him to come to his acting class. Catlett joined the class for $25.

2. He is a Father of One

The True Story actor and his wife Rondi Luz have a daughter. They welcomed her almost two years after their wedding in March 2019. She was named Hamabi.

His wife said being a mother is tough, and women don’t get enough appreciation for bringing forth children into the world. She threw a word of advice to women that they should take nine months to rest after giving birth since it takes nine months to carry a pregnancy.
